I started working on the numbers systems around 1973 or 1974, when a very dear friend of our family, whom had been playing the street numbers for years said to me, " Steven, you have always been a pretty smart kid. I bet that you could come up with a number's system that would work. I don't know much about it, but they say it's has something to do with a 'rundown'." I didn't reply to him. But, my work had just begun.

In 1981 our friend die, This for some reason made me even more determine to finish the task. In 1982, I started to school and was working for a contractor as a janitor cleaning classrooms at Wright Patterson AFB. It was at the Air Force Base when I notice equations on the black broads that were familiar to me from my studies. Also, there was a Captain who usually stray late after everyone else had gone home. I asked him a question while emptying his wastebasket. I said, "Excuse me Sir; could I ask you a question"? He replied, " Of course". So, I asked him if a person hit the numbers 17 times in a row would you say that it was pure luck? He said, " No, and that if you like I will bring some information tomorrow to prove if statistically. It’s something that he is on too." That was all that I needed to keep me going.

Eventually I created a following at the school. Professors trying to do the very same thing with little or no results and here I was giving out numbers for the next drawing and they would come. The next day school, persons would be overwhelmed about what had happen and in some cases had to remind me.

I finished in 1985 with a BA Computer Information System. Six months after that I started URN System. My books were being sold in 19 stores in the surrounding Dayton, Ohio area. Prices were ranged from $1.00 to $50.00. All of the books, with the exception of the $1.00 book, had a money back guarantee. I was in business for 13 months and was never wrong in my predictions.

The systems were good, yet I was not satisfied. And the person whom had encouraged me to do this had died. I was determined to create the best. I read the books that were being sold.

I saw the people and talked to them whom were buying the books on the market. I would make it by business to be in different stores when the numbers for that day would came out, thus allowing people to conform me if I was wrong. This would gain their trust.

In talking to them, we would exchange ideas. It is something about the numbers that makes everybody think that they know everything, yet none of them are winning. I have been laughed and thrown out of many stores. I have had people say, "You don't look like a person that has a winning lottery system, where's your new clothes, and new car'. I would never answer them.

These people knew that I was hitting, because me a those associated with me where creating a reputation for doing so. The most common responds were "Why don't you play straight, instead of box and get more than $41.50". Again, there was no need to respond, because if they didn't know the answer to this, then they wouldn't understand your reply. It wouldn't be because of lack of intelligence, but the presence of discontent.

I removed my books from the stores because it started to brother my spirit. Sometimes I would feel like I was doing the wrong thing because people would buy the higher price books and they won’t use them because they had no fate in the system. True enough I was trying to make some money, but I realized that I could only do it by helping them make some. I wanted to elimiate their outdated procedures for a new proven method which they were willing to pay for.

I was doing house calls giving private tutoring, lectures and they weren’t making use of the material and missing the winning numbers.

I had one lady that would have me to come by her house on weekly bases, but only when her husband wasn’t home because she did want him to know that she was gambling with his money. People coming from miles to get the books. Only advertisement was "word of mouth", people talking. I decided that I wasn’t ready, the systems weren’t ready and I wanted to devote all of my extra time to research.
